Kodak EK4 instant camera

With Kodak recently filing for bankruptcy I feel a sense of urgency to selvage Kodak cameras and film before they're retired and discarded.

Fortunately I managed to acquire a Kodak EK4 Instant Camera this week!

Kodak stopped producing instant cameras and film in 1986 having lost a patent infringement suit from Polaroid, but this doesn't mean I can't find any film today. I've seen the Kodak PR10 instant film here and there, but you have to be in quick.

You can also modify a Fijifilm FI-800GT instant film pack to fit in the Kodak EK4 via this tutorial. Might be worth an experiment?

  1. Awesome! Let us know how you go with the film.

Thanks for you comments. I love hearing your feedback : )
